I am passionate about languages. As a British and Brazilian citizen with family in Panama and in the United States, I can fluently speak Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Having lived in London for 14 years, I have met people from all different nationalities and this has been an important contributing factor to my knowledge of different cultures. In addition to this, taking a journalism course was a valuable experience which enabled me to raise awareness of global issues and improve my writing skills.

My interest in languages and translation increased in such a way that in 2012 I decided to take a degree at London Metropolitan University, where I was awarded B.A. (Hons) in Translation. In 2014, I also completed a course in Advanced Subtitling from University College London.

Throughout my academic years I had the opportunity to take a work placement at Worldmeet.US, a journalism project based in New York that gathers and translates international news into English. As a student, I soon realised that not only academic knowledge would build my career as a Professional Translator and, therefore, I engaged in different voluntary and paid translation works.

Having grown my career with academic translation knowledge and practical experience in different translation jobs has provided me with competence to produce the highest quality translations, always on time!
